Fall Colours

Fall colours exhibit vibrant hues of orange, red, and yellow that appear on the leaves of deciduous trees and shrubs during the autumn season. This natural phenomenon is caused by changes in the amount of pigments present in the leaves as daylight hours decrease and temperatures drop. As the chlorophyll breaks down in the leaves, the other pigments present in the leaves become more visible, creating such stunning autumn palette.

The intensity and timing of fall colors can vary significantly by location, depending on factors such as weather, elevation, and tree species. Some regions are renowned for their particularly vibrant and long-lasting fall foliage displays.
