My Neighbourhood

Good neighbours are a blessing to have, and to reciprocate that, one must cherish the camaraderie by being helpful and caring. This makes the neighbourhood a harmonious place to live in for each family.

We moved into our present neighbourhood, some two decades ago. It is a quiet cul-de-sac with lots of trees, narrow roads, and parks for children to play and adults to walk in or just spend some time sitting on the many benches there. The neighbourhood is happy with mid aged parents, children running about in groups or even under the watchful care of their grandparents. A few families who have pets, can be seen more often during early mornings and late evening.

This painting draws inspiration from real life and exemplifies the serenity of an idyllic neighbourhood.
